SUBSTANCE: apparatus has wheel-mounted frame, loins thrust back positioned for displacement on columns rigidly fixed on frame, and hand stop handles positioned on ends of poles rigidly fixed to carts movable along guides positioned under guides for movable feet stops. Each cart with hand or feet stops is connected to run of separate closed chain. Counter displacement of carts provokes circular displacement of chains in one direction. Chains transmit torque to drive of drive shaft by means of sprockets fixed to shaft. Sprockets diameter ratio is equal to carts stroke length ratio. Variable rotation of drive shaft is converted into unidirected rotation of driven shaft by means of two chain transmissions. Rotation of steering wheel fork spindle is provided by rotation of splined shaft intersecting with it and splined sleeve sliding along it. Sleeve is rotated due to rotation of hand stop handles. Wheel brakes are driven by cables stretched in parallel with lower guides. EFFECT: increased exercising efficiency and simplified construction. 7 cl, 4 dwg
