A golf club head 1 formed from laminated and bonded metal and epoxy layers, the strike face 2 of the club lying perpendicularly to the bonding plane of the layers. Preferably the layers are printed circuit boards which provide the effect of grooves in the face of the club due to the different hardness of the materials in the bonded layers. The strike face of the club head when in use preferably induces only topspin and not sidespin to a ball. |
