<p>A bioadhesive composition formed by polymerising an aqueous reaction mixture comprising from 5% to 50%, by weight of the reaction mixture, of at least one ionic water soluble monomer, from 10% to 50%, by weight of the reaction mixture, of at least one plasticiser (other than water), from 10% to 50%, by weight of the reaction mixture, of at least one nonionic water soluble monomer, from 3% to 40%, by weight of the reaction mixture, of water, from 0.05% to 10%, by weight of the reaction mixture, of at least one surfactant and from 1 % to 30%, by weight of the reaction mixture of at least one hydrophobic monomer and/or polymer.</p> |
