Teeth of a transfer belt are faced outward at a side of a magnetic head. A driving gear is arranged between a plurality of driven rollers so as to increase a winding angle of the transfer belt with respect to the driving gear. There is further provided on a face of the transfer belt at a teethed side a dustproof member which runs together with the transfer belt. The dustproof member is bridgingly stretched between the driven rollers but not wound around the driving gear. <IMAGE>
