The pump has an inner rotor (2) and an outer stator with stator windings in the flow of the medium being transported. The rotor is mounted in a rotor chamber (10) sealed with respect to a housing chamber (5) carrying liquid and predominantly filled with gas. The rotor chamber is connected to the environment by a ventilation opening (11) and labyrinth system (12).
