Date Jul. 30, 1998An alicyclic polyamine of the formula (1) wherein Y1 represents a saturated aliphatic hydrocarbon group and R1 through R4 are the same or different and each represents hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an aryl group, or an aralkyl group. The alicyclic polyamine can be obtained by subjecting a 3-formylcycloalkanone or 3-formylcycloalkenone to reductive amination reaction.
