PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging device for an illumination appliance which is capable of preventing the illumination appliance from being damaged by the positional deviation during transportation. SOLUTION: A body holder 50 is engaged with a positioning cushion material 60 by an engaging claw, and an adapter is stored in a space part below the body holder 50, and an appliance body and a lamp unit are fitted and supported by an upper cylindrical body 32a. The engagement claw is provided with pieces 54a, 54c which are slightly longer than a flange, arms 55a, 55c and claws 56a, 56c, and inserted in and engaged with an engagement hole of the positioning cushion material.
