SCREEN PRINTING DEVICE AND SCREEN PRINTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen printing device and a screen printing method by which it is possible to shorten tact time during carrying a base in/out and thereby upgrade productivity. SOLUTION: The screen printing device prints a cream solder on a base 6 through a pattern holes by bringing a mask plate 12 into contact with the base 6 and supplying the cream solder to the surface of the mask plate 12 to cause a squeegee to slide. In this device, a stopper unit 30 for regulating a position in the conveyance direction of the base 6 is housed and further, is set to be movable in the conveyance direction of the base 6, in a base positioning part 1 which positions the base 6 while holding it after it is delivered from a carrying-in conveyor 14. Thus the stopper unit 30 is moved by an X axis table 21 for transferring a camera 20. Consequently it is possible to regulate a position in the conveyance direction of the base 6 inside the base positioning part 1 and shorten tact time during carrying the base 6 in/out.
