PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such an air conditioner for an elevator which is able to prevent such a fact that temperature in an elevator car is unnecessarily dropped lower than the setting one of the air conditioner, from occurring. SOLUTION: This elevator air conditioner is provided with a cooling means 6 being installed in a body case 5 and cooling air from an air suction port in a car as well as air from another air suction port in an elevator shaft all together, a blowing means 7 feeding the car with the cooled air with the cooling means 6, and a cooling capacity regulating means regulating the cooling capacity of the cooling means 6 so as to make the detection temperature by a temperature sensor 8 detecting a temperature of the air taken into the body case become the setting temperature of a car user, and then the temperature sensor 8 is installed in the car connection side of a first duct 9 which has connected the air suction port in the car and the inside of the car together. |
