PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent a stacked prize ball housing case robbery by switching the tightening and untightening of stacked prize ball housing cases or switching the ON/OFF of a detection means for detecting the change of a tightening state by a key switch. SOLUTION: In the case of protecting a prize ball housing case B containing prize balls stacked for plural stages from a robbery, this prize ball housing case robbery prevention device is mounted on the top part of the case B in a stacked state. Then, when a key 19 is put into the key switch 18 and it is turned to an unlocking position, the pressurizing body 17 of a release mechanism part 11 pressurizes an engagement release arm 16 and the engaged state of an engaging pawl 9 and a latchet 8 is released. In the state, locking belts 2 are pulled out and a locking hook 27 at a tip is locked to the edge part of the case B. Then, when the key 19 is turned to the state other than 'unlocking', the pressurizing body 17 is pulled back, the engaging pawl 9 and the latchet 8 become in the engaged state and the locking belts 2 are locked and held.
