<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production control device and a production control method for a production line, which can precisely measure the number of workpiece (products for every production process and a production time without using a mechanical counter, and which can obtain required production control data in the form of optional data. SOLUTION: By controlling a process and various operations in a processing machine 2 with the use of a control panel 12, and by measuring the number of workpieces products P) and a processing time in a software-like manner after completion, a production control means 16 in the controller 12 connected to the processing machine 2 can measure a number of the products after completion of various steps and a processing time therefore, and a computing and control means 13 can compute various production control data from results of the measurements by the production control means 16.</p> |
