<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable effective recovery of a coating material mist caught by a mist catching member in a water tank by making the shape of a blind-like baffle in the mist catching member a vertical one and also forming it into a shape having no such end part that liquid droplets are generated. SOLUTION: Coating material mists having straight advance inertia force among those carried on an air flow sucked by a spray booth is caught on the surface of a baffle plate 3b1. The other coating material mists are caught on air intake curved pieces 10, 10a, 12, 12a and planar parts 14a, 14b, 15a, 15b of baffle plates 3b1, 3b2. The coating material mist falls to the baffle plate 3b2 from the baffle plate 3b1 by gravity in a filmy state. However, since the baffle plates 3b1, 3b2 are arranged so that the lower part of the baffle plate 3b1 comes into contact with or has a small clearance from the baffle plate 3b2, the collected coating material mists smoothly go along the surface of the baffle plate 3b1 and fall in the filmy state one by one to the baffle plate 3b2 and are recovered in a recovery tank.</p> |
