PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an open/close type orthogonal mirror which realizes a simple structure, the curtailing of the number of parts and the man-hour and a safe exposed end of a surface mirror. SOLUTION: There are arranged two plate-shaped bodies 35 and 36 respectively having mirror surfaces 31 and 32 and a hinge 37 to mutually movably link both the plate-shaped bodies 35 and 36 so that the plate-shaped bodies 35 and 36 can shift to a closed position of letting both the mirror surfaces 31 and 32 face each other and an opened position of letting them orthogonal to each other. In addition, opened position holding members 39, 40 and 41 are arranged to hold the opened position of the plate-shaped bodies 35 and 36 and an inter angle adjusting member 39 or 42 to adjust the inner angle defined by both the mirror surfaces 31 and 32 at the opened position of the plate-shaped bodies 35 and 36.
