PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of a large overshoot in control by providing a means for standardizing supercharge pressure set value and supercharge pressure actual set value to the widest supercharge pressure area, and regulating the widest supercharge pressure area with the smallest supercharge pressure and largest supercharge pressure of a regulating operation element. SOLUTION: A coupling element V1 determines the deviationΔp of control to a proportional controller PR from the difference between a standardized supercharge pressure set value pso11 and a standardized supercharge pressure actual value pn. A coupling element V2 determines the control deviationΔp' to an integral controller IR from the difference between a standardized supercharge pressure set value pso11n' and a standardized supercharge pressure actual value pn'. Operation blocks N1, N2, N3, and N4 are presented to the standardized supercharge pressure values pso11n, pn, pso11n', and pn' to standardize a supercharge pressure set value pso11 and a supercharge pressure actual value (p). According to this, the unnecessary large interventional regulating operation of the integral controller at the time of a quick set value change can be avoided to reduce the overshoot.
