PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent the inclusion of salt and dust into a generator body in an intake system for passing cooled air by the rotation of a cooling fan by a prime mover to cool the generator body by mounting a filter on a vent hole communicating with the outside air, which is formed on one face of the casing of the intake system. SOLUTION: An end bracket 11 fixed to the end of a generator body 1 has a plurality of inlet ports 12..., and an intake system 2 is mounted so as to cover the inlet ports 12. A vertical partitioning plate 22 is provided on the surface center of the casing 21 of the intake system 2 to form two vent holes 23 by the partitioning plate 22 and a nipping plate 23A on the inner surface of the casing 21, and a filter 24 is mounted on each vent hole 23 so as to make contact with the nipping plate 23A. On the other hand, the projection part 11A of the end bracket 11 is inserted to an insert hole 21c formed on the reverse plate 21C of the casing 21, and the air cleaned through the filter 24 is circulated within the generator by the rotation of a generator-side cooling fan to cool the generator.
