PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cut an antibacterial cover into a specified size by forming the cover which protects the surface of a leafletlike article such as books, or a plastic base material film with an adhesive surface having an autoadhesion and peelability, imparting an antibacterial property to the film, and also, forming a cross-ruled pattern. SOLUTION: This antibacterial cover 1 is placed under a roll-form, and on a plastic base material film 7, a cross-ruled pattern 2, a size mark 3 and a logo 4 are formed. The cross-ruled pattern 2 and the size mark 3 are used as a reference at the time of a cutting, or as a reference when the cover is attached to a correct location on a book or the like. The base material film 7 preferably is a plastic film having transparency, and on the surface on the side which comes into contact with the book or the like, an adhesive 5 having transparency is applied, and is covered with a release paper 6. Also, by making the adhesive surface of the base material film 7 into a fine uneven shape, the adhesive surface is formed into a surface having an autoadhesion and peelability. Also, an antibacterial property is required on the base material film 7.
