PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eyelet which enables altering of a grasping clearance according to the thickness of fabrics while facilitating mounting. SOLUTION: This eyelet 1 is constituted of a eyelet body 4 which has an inverted cup-shaped flange 3 at the upper end opening part of a cylinder 2 and an annular protruded stripe 7 at the lower end opening part and a female body 5 fitted into the cylinder 2 of the eyelet body 4. So, an annular thick part 8 is so arranged on the inner circumference rim of the female body 5 as to stick out to the side of the surface and the inner circumference of the thick part 8 is formed with a tapered surface 9 enlarged in diameter to the surface side. The inner diameter of the tapered surface 9 on the surface of the thick part 8 is made larger than the outer diameter of the annular protruded stripe 7. Thus, by changing the direction of fitting the female body 5 into the cylinder 2, a grasping clearance can be altered according to the thickness of fabrics 12 and 14 while facilitating mounting on the rim of a hole.
