PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve feeding precision of recording paper by simplifying constitution. SOLUTION: An arm 31 is provided on a mounting shaft 10a of a platen roller 10 free to rotate. An electromagnet 32 is fixed on the arm 31. The electromagnet 32 turns on and it is electromagnetically attracted on an end surface 10c of the platen roller 10. The arm 31 is oscillated by an eccentric cam 36. A stopper 41 is provided on an upper end part 31a of the arm 31, and displacement quantity of the arm 31 is specified as S2. The electromagnet 32 turns on in such a a sate where the upper end part 31a of the arm 31 makes contact with a first engagement part 42. Thereafter, the arm 31 is rotated in the arrow A direction by the eccentric cam 36. The electromagnet 32 turns off after the arm 31 is engaged with a second engagement part 43, and the electromagnet 32 is separated from the platen roller 10. Thereafter, the arm 31 is returned to an initial position by energization of a coil spring 48 by rotating the eccentric cam 36 by 180 degrees. Thereafter, recording paper is intermittently fed in a fixed quantity by repetition of the above.
