PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve heat resisting property and handlability while preventing formation of environmental hormones (extrinsic endocrine disrupters) by a method wherein a heat-resistant container such as the one for instant noodles is formed of an inner container made of a heat-resistant plastic by molding and an outer paper container wrapped round the inner container from the outside and an air layer serving as a heat-resistant layer is formed between the inner and outer containers. SOLUTION: For an inner container 1 molded in a vertically-long cup-like shape, a number of ribs 2 are formed vertically at the outer circumferential face of its trunk part. The inner container 1 is made of heat-resistant plastic by injection molding or the like into a united body. For the heat-resistant plastic, a material such as heat- resistant PET which does not contain environmental hormones (endocrine disrupters) is used. Furthermore, an outer container 3 made of paper is wrapped round the outer circumferential face of the inner container 1. Since a large number of ribs 2 are formed between the inner container 1 and the outer container 3, an air layer 5 is formed between both containers. Therefore, the air layer 5 serves as a heat-resistant layer, and heat is not transferred to the outer container 3 even through a hot water is poured into the inner container 1, preventing the outer container 3 from becoming hot and making handling easy.
