PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of incompatibility in drivability which is caused by shortage of torque increase when an accelerator pedal is operated for the acceleration in a driving area of a lean air-fuel ratio and under high load at highlands. SOLUTION: A supercharger 37 is so operated that a target supercharging pressure is obtained in a driving area of a lean air-fuel ratio. A computation means 38 computes an actual supercharging pressure estimated value in the case that a standard engine is used under reference atmospheric pressure. A computation means 39 computes a supercharging pressure correction value according to difference between the reference atmospheric pressure and the actual supercharging pressure estimation value during acceleration in the driving area of the lean air-fuel ratio. A computation means 40 computes a second target intake air amount by increasingly correcting a target intake air amount by the use of the supercharging pressure correction value. A throttle valve control device 31 is driven by a driving means 41 so as to introduce the second target intake air amount into an engine.
