PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite flexible hose having superior flexibility wherein an innermost layer and an intermediate rubber layer are strongly adhered without an adhesive layer. SOLUTION: An innermost layer 2, an intermediate rubber layer 3, a fiber reinforced layer 4, and an outer rubber layer 5 are laminated in that order from the inside. The innermost layer 2 is composed of a modified polyamide obtained by blending a polyamide and a carboxyl group containing modified polyolefin. The intermediate rubber layer 3 is composed of a rubber composition made by mixing 10 to 50 pts.wt. of silicic acid or silicate, 5 to 15 pts.wt. of brominated alkyl phenol formaldehyde resin, 0.5 to 10 pts.wt. of a phenol resin, and 0.5 to 10 pts.wt. of methylol melamine per 100 pts.wt. of halogenated butyl rubber. After laminating the layers, each layer is vulcanized.
