PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a high accuracy of bearing clearance, as well as to facilitate the setting of the bearing clearance of a thrust bearing. SOLUTION: To the bottom part of a housing 6 with a cylindrical form with bottom, an abutting part 12 projecting more than the bottom part 6a1 is provided. While a shaft member 2 is inserted in the housing 6 and it is abutted to the abutting part 12, a bearing body 7 to support the shaft member 2 in the noncontact condition rotatable by the dynamic pressure function generated in the relative rotation with the shaft member 2, and the bearing body 7 is positioned by engaging the bearing main body 7 with the shaft member 2. After that, the shaft member 2 is pushed in to retreat the abutting part 12, so as to form the thrust bearing clearances Cs1 and Cs2 of a thrust bearing 11 to thrust support the shaft member 2 in the noncontact condition by the dynamic pressure function.
