<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the stay and heap of the dust in a groove of a lower part of a metal bellows by providing an inorganic fiber woven cloth for covering the inner periphery of the metal bellows freely to be removed. SOLUTION: Both ends of an inorganic fiber woven cloth 10 are fixed to each support part 29 by a bolt and a nut 13 through a presser flange 12 freely to be removed. Namely, the inorganic fiber woven cloth 10 is provided so as to cover the inner periphery of the metal bellows 12 over the whole circumference. In a lower part of this metal bellows type expansion joint 20, dust stays and heaps at a place, in which the gas is flowed at a low speed, namely in the inner surface of the inorganic fiber woven cloth 10, an upper surface of the upstream end of an inner cylinder 16, and corners of the support parts 29 of a short pipe 26. But stay and heap of the dust in the groove 23 of the metal bellows 21 can be prevented.</p> |
