PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery stopper device capable of mounting and holding battery cases largely different in size in stable attitude without impairing the stability of a vehicle. SOLUTION: A battery stopper device which is abutted to the right and left side faces of a battery case 1 mounted in a battery storage room 3 set up in a vehicle includes a rotary stopper 11 provided on the side of an access 4 to the battery storage room 3 and a fixed stopper 21 provided on the opposite side. The fixed stopper 11 consists of an upper arm 13 and a stopper plate 14 detachable therefrom, while the fixed stopper 21 consists of a L-shaped plate 23 detachable from the stopper holder 22 and a stopper plate 24. Two types of battery cases different in size can be mounted by adjusting a space between the stoppers depending on the use of the stopper plates 14, 24.
