摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating device of material to be forged wherein one heating furnace can effect preheating and production heating as well, and hence the length of the furnace can be made smaller, and materials can be efficiently heated to a temperature suitable to the forging thereof, while materials to be forged can be supplied at a rate corresponding to the forging cycle. SOLUTION: A passage 9 for preheating a material A to be forged and a passage 8 for production-heating the material A are provided in a heating furnace 1. The material A is forced into the passage 9 from a receiving side end and preheated, and thereafter the material A is pushed out of the passage 9 and forced into the passage 8 from the receiving side end so as to be finally heated.
