PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ethylene copolymer modified product which imparts an antistatic property and a moldability to a resin. SOLUTION: This modified product is obtained by allowing (A) an alkylene oxide adduct of an ethylene/saturated carboxylic vinyl ester copolymer saponified product to react with (B) a polycarboxylic acid. Preferably, the weight ratio of component (A) used against component (B) is from 20 to 200, the hydroxy value is 10 to 180, the acid value is 1 to 15, and component (A) is prepared by adding 20 to 1,000 pts.wt. alkylene oxide against 100 pts.wt. ethylene/saturated carboxylic vinyl ester copolymer saponified product.
