PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcement material of a pillar for automobile free from the deformation in quenching because it does not have a bent part, by comprising the reinforcing ends forming both ends and a straight pipe mounted between the reinforcing ends. SOLUTION: A straight pipe 23 is mounted between an upper end of a lean hose and a lower end 22 of the same. The end parts of the straight pipe 23 reach the lean hose both ends, and are projected from the edges of the lean hose ends to be exposed therefrom. The deformation of a straight pipe 23 can be prevented because it does not have a bent part even when it is quenched to be used as a pillar reinforcement material 21 of a front pillar of an automobile, and the quality control of a number of straight pipes 21 necessary for manufacturing a number of same automobiles can be easily executed, which improves the massproductivity. Further it is expected that a straight pipe on the market can be used as the straight pipe 23, the manufacturing cost can be reduced.
