PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the occurrence of printing unevenness or the like and thus enhance the quality of printing by specifying the adhesion strength between an ink composition and a base body in a solid ink printing original plate manufactured by fly of ink droplets on the base body after a solid ink composition is liquefied by heat at a room temperature. SOLUTION: A solid ink printing original plate is manufactured by fly of ink droplets on the base body through jetting of ink droplets after a solid ink composition is liquefied by heat at a room temperature, wherein an adherence strength is set to 25 g/mm2 or more between the ink composition and the base body. At this time, the ink composition is allowed to have no yielding value until the compression stress reaches a rate of distortional of 10% at a room temperature, or it is good in conditions where compression stress is 10 kg/cm2 or more at a rate of distortional of 10% and a penetration hardness is 3 or more, and moreover, higher fatty acid ester and plasticizer are contained therein. Furthermore, a melt viscosity of the ink composition is set to be 5-30 mPa.s at the time of jetting ink droplets.
