<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recycle a waste carpet by removing pile part of a waste carpet material surface having a surface pile layer and a resin backing layer tufted in a primary ground fabric, and providing a surface decorative layer on the surface and the back of the removed base material and the backing layer. SOLUTION: The surface of a recovered and used carpet is washed by a rotary brush, and after washing, residual water is absorbed and removed by a vacuum sucking device. After that, unnecessary metal is detected and removed by a metal detector. Surface pile of the waste carpet is removed by 90% or more by a shirring device, and the back of the carpet from which the surface pile is removed is turned to the surface to stack a print layer and a PVC transparent sheet 6. A PVC balance sheet 7 is stacked on the back to form a floor pile 8. Further, a fiber reinforced material F such as glass net, glass nonwoven fabric, polyester mesh or the like for stabilizing and keeping dimensions is interposed in the backing layer 2 or between the primary ground fabric 1 and the backing layer 2. Accordingly, the waste carpet material is subjected to simple working to be easily reused as a bed material.</p> |
