<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printed matter having printing elements in a design (or a pattern) consisting of a symbolic printing element forming body of the printed matter, the prevention of forgery and falsification of which is necessary and the design properties of which is required. SOLUTION: This printed matter is a collecting pattern 11 for representing a continuous gradation consisting of a first printing element group 8, which run side by or parallel to one another and the highlight part h of which is represented by dots (or disconnected lines) and the intermediate part (m) and the shadow part (s) of which are represented by lines, a second printing element group 10, which run side by side or parallel to one another so as to intersect with the first printing element group 8 at an arbitrary angle and the portion starting from the intermediate part to the shadow part are represented by dots or lines, and a third printing element group 12, which is represented by dots or lines arranged not to overlap with the first printing element group 8 and the second printing element group 10.</p> |
