PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sorting device for waste capable of maintaining sorting accuracy over a long period of time and also unnecessitating the removing work of sticked or deposited material. SOLUTION: An oblong box like body 2 having a feeding port 3a on the one end side and a discharging port 3b on the other end side thereof, respectively, is supported by a vibrating mechanism so that it can be vibrated. A perforated plate 4 for conveying waste from the feeding port to the discharging port side is almost horizontally installed at an intermediate position in the height direction in the box like body to divide it into an upper chamber 23 and a lower part 24. The perforated plate 4 is formed by combination of a non- perforated part 4b and screen holes 4c. The lower chamber is divided into an air chamber 23 and an undersize part 24 by a straightening plate 2 installed in the boundary between the non-perforated part and the screen holes. The air chamber is provided with an air feeding port 40, and the undersize chamber is provided with an undersize discharging port. Thus, by synergistic action of vibration of the perforated plate and the air flow flowing in from the screen holes, crushed incombustibles can be surely screened into sand like material or pebble like material and large particles on the perforated plate.
