PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the regulation of an oil feed quantity to a rocker shaft and reduce the cost by attachably and detachably providing a throttle member having a throttle passage between the oil passage of a rocker case and the oil passage of the rocker shaft. SOLUTION: Lubricating oil passed through an oil passage 12c within a rocker case is passed through the throttle passage 14 of a plate 5 to be regulated to a required flow rate, and then carried into the oil passage 12b of a rocker shaft 4. The lubricating oil is then carried to an oil passage 12a and sent to the lubricating parts of rocker arms 11a, 11b, or the inner surfaces of bushes 13a, 13b. When the lubricating oil quantity supplied to the oil passages 12a, 12b of the rocker shaft 4 is regulated, the plate 5 having a throttle passage diameter providing a required lubricating oil quantity is selected and integrated. The lubricating oil quantity can be regulated by an extremely simple work of loosening a stud bolt 6 to remove or integrate the plate 5. The number of part items can be reduced to reduce the product cost.
