PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent material to be sorted from being caught on support materials of a screen to prevent defective conveyance of the material to be sorted on a trough with respect to a vibrating screen which is used for sorting treatment of the material to be sorted such as incombustible refuse, waste refuse having large size, and construction waste and by which the material to be sorted is screened by size while being conveyed. SOLUTION: In a vibrating screen in which a screen 2 for screening material to be sorted 5 is supported in a trough 1 by plural supporting materials 3 arranged below the screen 2 and the material to be sorted 5 fed onto the screen 2 is screened by size while being conveyed, the supporting materials 3 are arranged in a staggered configuration so that width W1 between the supporting materials 3 is enlarged to prevent the material to be sorted 5 that have fallen onto the rough 1 from the screen 2 from being caught between the supporting materials 3.
