PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure recovery of a refrigerant accumulating on the condense side onto the evaporator side in a short time when a heating mode is started by means of a hot gas bypass. SOLUTION: In a refrigerating cycle device, the inlet of a condenser 14 is closed by electromagnetic valves 13, 21 and the inlet of a hot gas bypass 20 is opened for operation in a heating mode by means of the hot gas bypass. During starting the heating mode, both inlets of the condenser 14 and the hot gas bypass 19 are closed for a preset time period by both electromagnetic valves 13, 21 for operating a compressor 10 so that refrigerant accumulating on the condenser 14 side can be recovered onto the evaporator 18 side.
