QUICK SETTING AGENT FOR HIGHLY FLUID SPRAY CONCRETE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a quick setting agent for highly fluid spray concrete which maintains its quick setting property, ensures a good rebound rate and can improve the reduction rate (%) of the long-term compressive strength (material's age; 28 days) of sprayed concrete. SOLUTION: The quick setting agent added to highly fluid concrete consists of calcium aluminate preferably in the range of 3-10 wt.% of the amount of a hydraulic powder such as cement and an inorganic powder such as a zeolite having >=5 m2/g BET specific surface area preferably in the range of 0.5-15 wt.% of the amount of the hydraulic powder or further contains gypsum preferably in the range of <=10 wt.% of the amount of the hydraulic powder.
