PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movable desk wherein the height of a fixed leg is low, and in addition, a vertically movable mechanism which firmly depresses a movable section to a floor surface, is provided. SOLUTION: A movable caster 7a is arranged between an adjuster 8 which does not vertically move, and a fixed caster 7b, at the lower section of a fixed leg 60. Also, a vertically moving mechanism 90 of the movable caster 7a is equipped with a cam 91 linked with a rotating shaft of a shelf guide 52 having a top plate 4 and a parallel link mechanism, a rod 93 the upper end of which is axially supported by the end section of the cam 91, and a lift member 94 the front and rear of which are axially supported by the lower end of the rod 93 and the fixed leg 60, and which is equipped with the movable caster 7a at the front lower section. In this case, in the structure, the lift member 94 can be located in the vicinity of the central section in the fixed leg 60, and the height of the leg 60 at both ends, can be made lower. Also, the movable caster 7a is firmly depressed to a floor surface by the vertically moving mechanism 90 which is interlinked with the rotation of the top plate 4, and does not swing in the longitudinal direction.
