PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail of which both ends are made excellent in appearance without attaching caps to both ends. SOLUTION: At first, a thermoplastic synthetic resin is subjected to extrusion molding to produce a round rod 1 and, subsequently, the round rod 1 is cut into predetermined length and both ends 1A, 1B of the cut round rod 1 are heated to be molded into a semispherical shape by a mold. Grain like lines and patterns are applied to the entire region of the outer peripheral surface of the round rod 1 along the longitudinal direction thereof and the longitudinal end parts of these lines and patterns are converged to one point of the shaft parts of both spherical ends 1A, 1B. |
