PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce in size a switching mechanism by sandwiching a rotor between a base plate and a support plate by a supporter. SOLUTION: A rotor 4 is sandwiched between a base plate 2 and a support plate 5 in the four-way valve for a refrigerating cycle. The rotor 4 is rotatably rotated by a supporting shaft 11. A sliding surface 13 is executed with Teflon coating or a Teflon sheet to reduce its sliding resistance. Since a supporter 6 can be regulated to become a predetermined refrigerant leakage or predetermined sliding resistance, a dimensional accuracy of a component can be lowered, and it has a function of a stopper for rotating the rotor 4 at a predetermined angle. With the above constitution, a switching function of cooling and heating can be reduced in size.
