PROCESS AND PLANT FOR PRODUCING SLUSH HYDROGEN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process and a plant for producing slush hydrogen in ideal state where rough solid hydrogen does not separate and precipitate. SOLUTION: A rotary shaft 5 coupled with a motor 4 is disposed vertically in a container 2 and provided with rotary blades 3 for stirring the liquid surface of slush hydrogen. The rotary blade 3 comprises a blade part 3a provided with a float 3d and a ring 3b having inside diameter larger than the cross-sectional diameter of the rotary shaft 5 coupled with the blade part 3a through a coupler 3c wherein the rotary shaft 5 penetrates through the ring 3b such that the rotary blade 3 can move along the longitudinal direction of the rotary shaft 5. The rotary shaft 5 is provided with a rod 5a extending in parallel therewith and the rod 5a is separated from the rotary shaft 5 so that it does not interfere with the ring 3b of the rotary blade 3 when the ring 3b moved up and down.
