PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum brake preventing a brake noise with its structure simplified in the drum brake so constituted that let a vehicle stand still by letting the rotation of each wheel stand still by means of friction between a lining supported by each shoe of a brake device and the drum to be integrally rotated with each wheel. SOLUTION: This brake drum includes a brake device 16 equipped with a brake drum 3 to be integrally rotated with each wheel 9, and with a lining 5a for letting the rotation of each wheel stand still due to friction caused when the lining abuts against the drum. Bands 15 mutually connected with one another by bolts 14 while being divided into four parts, are bound around the outer circumferential part of the brake drum 3, so that the bands 15 function a work for preventing the selfexciting oscillation of the brake drum 3.
