PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the price up of the device, and enable an absorptive freezer to be used for a long period of use, without a hindrance in operation by hydrogen gas. SOLUTION: This absorptive freezer is provided with a connecting mechanism 90 capable of mounting and removing a separate auxiliary water storage, above the main tank 73 of a noncondensing gas storage for storing noncondensing gas. For the auxiliary hydrogen storage, hydrogen occluding alloy 83 is stored in the case, and it occludes hydrogen gas. The device can be used continuously by storing the hydrogen gas with a hydrogen occluding alloy within the main tank of the noncondensing gas storage or the hydrogen storage, in the initial stage of the use of the device, and connecting the separate auxiliary hydrogen storage to it when it becomes impossible of storage. The initial price of the device can be suppressed because it will do for the user to merely connect, even if the device suppresses the initial storage capacity, the auxiliary hydrogen storage to it when it becomes unable to occlude hydrogen gas.
