PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To previously prevent the intrusion of a suspicious person into a car by stopping the opening operation once in the half-opening condition at the time of opening a door in case of controlling a car side door for opening and closing, and wholly opening or closing the door with a judgment by passenger. SOLUTION: When an elevator arrives a destination floor, a normal open contact 39b opened during the operation of the elevator is opened so as to extinguish the door closing command relay 33. Since all of the normal open contacts 36b, 33b, a full-opening detecting switch (OLSb) and a half-opening detecting switch (HOSb) are closed, a door opening operation command relay 35 is energized, and a door 1 is driven in the opening direction by the operation of a motor 37. When the door 1 is opened to a degree capable of confirming the landing floor condition, the HOSb is opened, and the door closing operation command relay 35 is extinguished, and the normal open contacts 35a2, 35a3 are opened, and the motor 37 is stopped. When an opening button is operated in this condition the full opening command relay 34 is energized, and the door 1 is full opened by the operation of the motor 37.
