PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device which displays a change of an active design image that makes a player's interest continue. SOLUTION: In a usual change, left and right design images and central design image 52d are displayed by being changed monotonously in a display image 66a. When the design images are transferred from the usual change to li-zhi, a lateral width is expanded as a lengthwise width of the central design image 52d is reduced at an arranging position Yo then the central design image 52d is moved to an arranging position Yk with restoring the lengthwise and lateral widths. Then the central design image 52d is oscillated reciprocatingly from side to side with changing the lateral width. On the occasion, the central design image 52d which moves from right or left to one end is replaced as other kinds of design image. As a result, an active display appearance can be realized.
