PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a patient's comfort with stable reliability. SOLUTION: This valve has a valve housing 2 and a bypass valve portion 5 and a valve flap is freely rotationally mounted in the valve housing and is free to rotate to a position where it closes the free inner pipe 4 of the valve housing during inhalation according to a stream of air of a predetermined strength and to a position where it reopens the free inner pipe at least partially during exhalation according to a stream of air of a predetermined strength; when the valve housing is in a closed position, respiratory air can be inhaled through the bypass valve portion 5. Two switching points of the valve flap are pre-adjustable between a closing position and a position where the valve flap opens the free inner pipe of the valve housing at least partially.
