PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piston ring of an expansion piston of a Stirling refrigerator in an ordinary temperature section and to provide a structure having no movable component such as a piston, a piston ring or the like in a low sound section of a pulse tube refrigerator, by using a pressure change generated in the Stirling refrigerator as a pressure source of the pulse tube refrigerator. SOLUTION: A Stirling refrigerator A1 is constituted by communicating a Stirling compressor 1 with a Stirling expansion unit 8 and providing a Stirling cool storage unit 5 in an expansion piston 12. Piston ring 14a, 14b, and 11 are arranged in an ordinary temperature section. Operating medium incorporating jointly in the refrigerator A1 and a pulse tube refrigerator B1 is sealed, the medium of the unit 8 flows in a pulse tube cool storage unit 18 and flows out of the unit 18, and generates refrigerating at low temperature ends of a heat exchanger 19 and a pulse tube 21. That is, the refrigerating of a lower temperature than that of the refrigerating generated from the unit 8 of the refrigerator A is obtained in the refrigerator B1. In this case, no movable component such as a piston, a piston ring or the like is contained in a low sound section.
