PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a foreign matter produced from an odorant employed in a freezing cycle in order to facilitate detection of leakage from clogging the piping in a freezing cycle to damage the cooling performance. SOLUTION: A double tube 19 is employed for an evaporator 18 and refrigerant is fed through an inner tube 21. An odorant 20, e.g. methyl mercaptan, is encapsulated in the space 22 between the inner and outer tubes 21, 20. Since refrigerant and odorant are used separately from each other, insufficient cooling due to clogging with foreign matter can be prevented.
