PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform roasting easily in home by arranging a heater in a cooking chamber and rotatably supporting a roasting container which can be set in the cooking chamber while containing a material to be roasted. SOLUTION: Far infrared heaters 7, 8 are disposed horizontally in the vicinity of the ceiling part and bottom part in a cooking chamber 6, respectively, and a metal plate 9 for reflecting heat radiated from these heaters 7, 8 is fixed in the cooking chamber 6. A roasting container 14 having hollow shape extending along the center line of rotation 15 can contain a material to be roasted and can rotate by the center line of rotation 15. Since the roasting container 14 has hexagonal cross-section, the material to be roasted is mixed through rotation thereof without slipping along the inner wall of the lower, intermediate and upper layers. Rotary shafts 17, 18 are provided as supporting means for the roasting container 14 above the opening 11 in the reflecting plate 6.
