PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for a vehicle with an air-conditioning unit 1 capable of independently controlling temperatures in air-conditioned zones on right and left seats, wherein the controllability of independent right and left temperatures is maintained. SOLUTION: A swing range of a driver's seat side center louver arranged in a driver's seat side center face blow port 21 open at the air downstream end of an air-conditioning unit 1 is limited to a range from the direction of an occupant on a driver side front seat in an air-conditioned zone on a right side seat in a vehicle cabin to the direction of the occupant on the front passenger seat side rear seat in an air-conditioned zone on a left side seat next thereto. A swing range of a front passenger seat side center louver arranged in a front passenger seat side center face blow port 31 is limited from the direction of the occupant on the front passenger side front seat in an air-conditioned zone on a left side seat in the vehicle room to the direction of the occupant on a driver side rear seat in an air-conditioned zone on a right side seat next thereto. The blow of conditioned air from an own air-conditioned zone to the next air-conditioned zone is prevent.
