PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tab for a cap of a can which is not broken even if a bending action is repeatedly applied to the tab to open the can. SOLUTION: The tab A includes an inner lance 4 provided to separate a tab body 1 from a can cap connection part 6, and a rivet 3a is inserted into a rivet hole 3 formed in the part 6 so as to be secured to the can cap. A cap piece 7 is opened by pulling up a finger hooking part 2 to push in a cap piece contact part 5, whereupon a bending action is applied to the right and left end parts 4a, 4b of the lance 4 and to the vicinity of a cap piece side end 3b of the hole 3. At that moment, since a straight line L interconnecting the opposite ends of the lance 4 is formed so as to be offset from the end 3b toward the contact part 5, even if a bending action is applied repeatedly, the tab A can be prevented from being broken. |
