PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep constant the cenesthesic strength of low frequency therapy without change of conductivity between an electrode and the skin due to sweating of the skin during the therapy by providing an electrode for applying low frequency pulses, which closely adheres to the skin surface, and jetting an electrolyte decomposition water from a hot water jetting part. SOLUTION: A patient takes a set on a seating means 25, an electrode (shoulder) 18 is previously put in a suitable position of the shoulder of the patient, and an electrode (waist) 23 is made adhere to a suitable position of the patient's waist. In applying low-frequency pulse voltage from the electrodes 18, 23 to the skin by a control means 20, solid electrolyte is eluted into hot water by the contact with hot water. Hot water in which electrolyte is eluted passes a void formed between the recessed part of a projecting and recessed part provided on the surface of the electrode 18 and the skin to keep constant the conductivity between the electrode and the skin, and simultaneously thermotherapy effect due to hot water jetting can be given from a hot water jetting part (shoulder) 7. The electrode 23 and the hot water jetting part (waist) 22 also keep the conductivity constant so as to give a thermotherapy effect. |
